Delicately Sweet Sorrow

I sat down and watched the finished DVD today.
Up until that moment, I'd never seen it in its entirety. Neither
in the correct running order nor in full resolution. My first reaction was one of sadness actually if I'm totally honest. Because I can't imagine ever topping it. I can't imagine what I might want to say or express that I haven't had the opportunity to in this album and subsequent supporting pieces.

And that's not to say I view the sadness as a negative thing. It's wonderful that I feel so fully realized. Amazing actually.
From the packaging, to the videos, the tour, the clothes, the statements, the colours, the choices . . all of it so fully realized.
And I know, yet again, I only have you all to thank for the opportunity.

On a lighter note, let me give you my biased and first hand 'review'.
It struck me that this is the ultimate album listening experience. It's a perfect synergy between visuals and sonics. The filmic quality combined with the new dimension of a surround sound experience is sort of like 'This Delicate Thing We've Made Redux'.. because it's the album you know, but from different angle by a fraction of degree.

Stand outs for me already are 'How To Build.. 'Maybe'.. '100 Challenging' and 'Conversation...'. But that's just on my first viewing.

I'm so in love with it.
And so proud of everyone involved.
