Getting ready for new years!
Current mood:  adventurous

I'm in the studio with Shave - over in East London (a place I rarely go) and we're putting the finishing touches on the band arrangements (surprises) for New Years and he's helping me a little with my mix for my DJ set afters.
Don't expect me to be literally 'spinning'. I don't spin. I don't beat match. I do however put together a bloody awesome mix on a laptop so do expect me to be looking at the lap top a lot and possibly getting tipsy.

Now, why don't I go to the East of London much?
It's weird, it's like a North vs South thing. Too hard I say. I have to catch buses and trains and navigate through strange lands to get to the cool part of London that boasts Hoxton and the fab clubs like Boombox at it's fingertips. Me, I'm a West End Boy. Or West London specifically. And it's strange how used to a 'hood you can get thereby encouraging you never to really leave it.

But leave it I did - and it always feels good to go for a drive and 'see' bits of London I don't normally see. I listen to my music (not MY music, today it was ELO) and have a good think on my way over to the Shave.

As I type he's in Second Life.
I don't get it.
I know I should. But I don't.
I'm already too enslaved to my laptop. I don't want a whole second life to live.
I can barely keep up with my own!

On another note, I can't wait to spend a month in the gym before the tour starts. I've got that awful holiday 'blerggh' feeling where your body is just rebelling against eating so much CRAP!! But before I do that, I DO intend to have fun on New Years Eve.
Warning to all in attendance : I can not be held responsible for my behavior after I stop singing. Hehe. Ie after midnight I'm like a Gremlin.
In Second Life, of course, I shall be sober.

I'm going home to a nice hot cooked dinner for me!
