The Times They are A Changing

Eh
Just wrote this whole rant about Annie Lennox and realized I got suckered into
believing a false story.. So here's my amended thoughts
Just goes to show - even if a friend sends me a link I should think twice before
believing everything you read in the papers!

What I will say is that regardless of Annie Lennox and her future recording plans,
I feel sad that I probably believed the tabloid story to be true because we are in an era where AMAZING artists are often having to choose to be independent just to get their music out there. .
But a larger part of me feels excited by the prospect.

I know when I decided not to get another major record deal people thought I was crazy.

I didn't get the kind of press that Radio Head did.. but I feel proud that I've been
at the front of a pack of once major selling recording artists who are choosing to go it alone...

It ain't easy.
But god it satisfying.

Right. I need sleep.
And to stop believing in gossip!
(Don't I always say that! Shame on ME!)
